In what has become one of the most celebrated annual events at
McCormick, the 2009 Martin Luther King Jr. Service of Praise &
Worship will host the Reverend Dr. John W. Kinney and the Imani Ya
Watume Youth Choir from Trinity United Church of Christ, Chicago on
Friday, January 16. The service will be held at Augustana Chapel, 1100
E. 55th St. and begins with praise and prayer at 6:30 p.m.

This January Term a team from McCormick will be traveling to the country of Colombia
for 12 days of study and cross-cultural immersion. While there they
will spend time visiting churches, communities and human rights leaders
including the Reformed University of the Presbyterian Church of
Colombia.
During the trip the travelers will be sending back regular updates on their experiences and reflections. Updates will be posted here as they sent from Colombia.
The trip departs Chicago January 3rd and returns on the 14th. Please join the rest of the McCormick communtiy in praying for safe travels and powerful experiences on their trip.
