ENROLLMENT AND FIELD STUDIES PLACEMENT
- Complete 9 courses/units.
- Attend the required Sexual Misconduct Workshop prior to the beginning of the field studies program. Next workshop will be held on March 21, 2009.
- Attend the Field Studies informational meeting (November 12, 2008 @ noon or 5:15PM)OR make an appointment to meet with the Director of Field Studies & Experiential Education during November or December.
- Consult the Committee on Preparation for Ministry / denominational oversight committee for specific ordination requirements (if applicable to your faith tradition/denomination).
- Complete and submit to Fran Davis Harris, the Application for Field Studies found on Field Studies page through the http://www.mccormick.edu/ webpage, by December 15th, 2008
- Submit your completed resume and vocational vision statement no later than January 9, 2009. Your application will not be complete until these two elements are submitted. Guidelines for writing a resume and a vocational vision statement can also be found on the Field Studies page under "How to Apply".
- Review possible placement sites on the Field Studies webpage.
- Select at least THREE sites which interest you and submit your choices via email to

no later than January 16, 2009.
- Throughout the year and no later than January, visit the sites you have selected.
- During the week of February 2, 2009, sign up for interviews with available sites.
- Interview with selected sites on February 20, 2009.
- Return prioritized response sheet by March 6, 2009.
- Register for MIN-404 in April, 2009.
- Sign the Administrative Covenant prior to September, 2009.
Please note: If you have more than one incomplete, failure or are on academic probation, you are not eligible to begin the field studies placement process.
