Doctor of Ministry Program

Active ImageThe Doctor of Ministry program at McCormick Theological Seminary provides courses which challenge pastors to be more intentional and faithful in their leadership of the congregations and institutions they serve. The focus of the program is transformation. This includes transformation of congregations and agencies, as well as the transformation of the students who serve as leaders in these institutions. Every aspect of the program emphasizes a collaborative model of learning and ministry and a mode of inquiry that links theory and practice.

The McCormick Doctor of Ministry Program offers three areas of concentration:
  • Building Beloved Community - Public Ministry
  • Parish Revitalization
  • Pastoral and Spiritual Care

In 2010 the dates for the first classes are:  June 7 - 11 and November 8 - 12

June Application Deadline, April 1; November Application Deadline, September 1.
