Allen Endowed Lecture

Dr. Daniel Schipani

Join us at McCormick Theological Seminary on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, from 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for the Allen Endowed Lecture featuring Dr. Daniel Schipani.

Dr. Schipani will speak on "New Challenges and Possibilities in Interfaith Spiritual Care: A View from Practical Theology." Daniel Schipani, Dr. Psy., Ph.D. is the Professor of Pastoral Care & Counseling, Emeritus at Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary and is an Affiliate Professor of Pastoral & Spiritual Care at McCormick Theological Seminary and San Francisco Theological Seminary.

The Paul Allen Lecture was made possible by the Winnetka Congregational Church, who, in 1992, endowed a fund commemorating the retirement of their pastor, Paul Allen, who taught pastoral care in McCormick's Doctor of Ministry program. The purpose of the lecture is to stimulate intellectual discussion of strategies for and applications of effective pastoral theology and pastoral care.

This event is free and open to the public. We'll see you in the McGaw Common Room!
