Dr. Najeeb T Haddad received his PhD, with distinction, in New Testament and Early Christianity from Loyola University Chicago. His dissertation, “Paul in Context: A Reinterpretation of Paul and Empire,” examined post-colonial interpretations of Paul’s letters. The study was a sociohistorical, rhetorical, and theological reading of Paul’s letters, and is currently being revised for publication. Haddad also holds an MA in Biblical Languages and Literature from Loyola and a BA in Religious Studies and Philosophy from Saint Xavier University (Chicago). His interests include the letters of Paul, Hellenistic Judaism, Philo of Alexandria, the Gospel of Mark, and the Greco-Roman miracle tradition.
