Additional Ways to Give

Some gifts require a bit more coordination, but each offers a meaningful way to support McCormick’s mission and students.

DIRECT AID
You or your church may wish to support a specific student enrolled at the seminary. These gifts are processed through the Office of Student Accounts, so we ask that you notify us in advance if you plan to give in this way.

Please note that gifts designated for a specific student account are not tax-deductible under IRS guidelines.

MATCHING GIFTS
Many employers match charitable contributions made by employees or retirees, which can increase the impact of your gift to McCormick.

To request a matching gift:

  • Ask your employer’s Human Resources office for a matching gift form

  • Submit the form along with your gift to McCormick

  • We will process the form and notify you when the matching gift is received

GIFTS-IN-KIND
McCormick may accept certain gifts of goods or services that directly support the seminary’s educational mission.

Before making a gift-in-kind, please note:

  • Donors are responsible for determining the value of the gift for IRS purposes

  • McCormick does not assign monetary value to gifts-in-kind in its acknowledgments

  • Gifts of tangible personal property may be accepted when they directly serve the seminary’s educational purposes

  • All gifts-in-kind are subject to review and acceptance by the seminary
