Adriana (Dri) Rivera, a lifelong learner of Puerto Rican descent, is the Director of the Writing and Resource Center for both the Catholic Theological Union and McCormick Theological Seminary. Dri is also pursuing a PhD in Christian Education and Congregational Studies at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary in Evanston, IL, with concentrations in critical digital pedagogies and digital theoethics. A former 7th-grade ELA teacher and MTS alum, Adriana believes that the shift to online learning initiated by the pandemic offers opportunities for theological education to participate in social change and empowerment for marginalized groups. Dri demonstrates these commitments in preaching, teaching, community engagement, research, and writing.
